Experience
"1992" > I Started Breeding Cockatiels as a hobby
"1993" > I Started to show my birds in local bird shows
"1996 – 1999" > I Became the Pa. State Coordinator for the "National Cockatiel Society" and wrote articles
for their bi-monthly news bulletin.
"1997"> I Helped to form the Delco Bird Club, Inc., which is still in existence today. I am also the Treasurer
of the Delco Bird Club and have been since 1997
"2000" > I attended a seminar in to become avian certified. It was held by the American
Federation of Aviculture in the state of Maryland.
"2001" > I started my bird grooming business “The Bird Nanny”
"2002 through to the present day" > I take my birds to perform for schools, nursing
homes and for the general public to see, both private and with the Delco bird club outreach team.
"2004" I Hired and animal agent to do commercials & magazine spreads. I have been both successful
and honored to be represented by Cathryn Long of the company All Creatures Great & Small of NY, Ltd.
"2005" I branched out into grooming all animals including turtles and rabbits! My grooming business
in now known as Feathers 2 Fur 4 U. The name discribes it all.
"2009" In December of "09" I became the groomer for my local veterinary hospital known as
"Glenolden Animal Hospital". I took over for the groomer who left suddenly. The job is both rewarding and educational.
I love being with the animals. The best reward is when I am finished with a dog or cat, they lick my face.

New York Post Newspaper.
"2008"> CD cover for "KID SISTER" rapp artist,
My African Grey Slate had a part in the upcoming episode of "THE ELECTRIC FACTORY" "T D" FLIES AWAY. It is to air sometime in January or February of 2009 on public television. pretty
exciting!!!
In October, Slate was asked to be a character
in an episode of the Electric Factory called "T D FLIES AWAY", in which he played "Tikki Barbar's bird named "Touch Down"
or T.D. for short. He was great!
2009> Featured in two Yellow Book commercials. One had canaries on a roof,
and the other featured my Lutino cockatiel Sunshine. My red factor canaries were featured in a print ad for More magazine
due to come out in February of 2010.
