Below are Pictures I took during my vacation to Florida.......Enjoy!!!

These Pictures were taken in St. Petersberg Florida where my sister lives.  We were driving around with the windows down in the car. As we came upon a red light and stopped, I heard a familiar sound. Birds screaching in the trees of the Wallgreens across the way!!!! But not just any old outside birds, This was a distictive loud noise!!! I knew right away that it was not an ordinary bird making it. I said to my sister, whom was driving "Pull in the parking lot, I want to find out just what kind of birds they are!". She did and just as I suspected low and behold there they were!!!  At least 300 of them. In the trees clowning around. Chasing each other, while some hung upside down. What a sight to see. I was in awe of them, for I have never seen such a sight.

People from Florida think that these guys are a nuisance, I can see that they are loud and raucus, but they don't realize that at one time you had to travel to South America to see them in the wild.....

I was watching them for about 20 minutes. They didn't seem to mind me under the tree while they played. They looked down as me as if to say ha ha see if you can catch me now to put me in a cage......

Below picture is of Wild Quakers In Florida

These two pictures were taken out back of my sister's house in Pinellas County, Florida.....She lives about a mile away from where there main nests are....Their nests  are quite amazing to see.....they are huge compared to the small size of bird that the quaker is.-
